Course Criteria
  1. Participants must be eligible for the Aerospace Workforce Transition (AWT) Program as an Incumbent aerospace workers who have either already lost their jobs or who may become dislocated by the retirement of the Space Shuttle/Constellation programs AFTER July 1, 2008.
  2. Participants must create an Employ Florida Marketplace account at www.employflorida.com prior to attending the workshop.
  3. Employees of NASA contractors and subcontractors please note that per NASA Procurement, attendance at this workshop shall be done on personal time and shall not be charged to work hours or administrative leave hours.
Free of charge to participants. Space is limited.

Customers will learn about AWT Program requirements for AWT Scholarships for education and trainings. The process for obtaining scholarships will be explained. No registration required. First come, first served. Max 40

Exploring Federal Employment: Part 1

Resume Writing Lab, Part 2

Design a resume utilizing the computer tool, OptimalResume, and receive guidance from an AWT team member to make it stand out or bring a draft of your current resume for review. Attendance at Applying for Private Industry Employment Workshop or Resume Writing Lab, Part 1 is required prior to participation.
