To take advantage of the Aerospace Workforce Transition Program services, participants must meet certain eligibility requirements:

1. Florida aerospace workers who are currently employed and may become dislocated as a result of the redirection of the NASA Space Program.

2. Registration with BOTH EmployFlorida.com AND the AWT program here at LaunchNewCareers.com.

3. Registration PRIOR TO BEING LAID-OFF.

Delay in registration on both websites may result in the inability to provide services. Even if you are not sure if you will take advantage of AWT program services, Register now while you are still employed to SECURE YOUR ELIGIBILITY in the event you decide later to turn to AWT for assistance. If you lose your job and have not registered with both EmployFlorida.com and Brevard Workforce AWT Program, we will not be able to help you.

Step 1Participants must register for an Employ Florida Marketplace account at www.employflorida.com. If you need assistance with the application, contact a team member on the Brevard Workforce Mobile Unit at KSC (click here for a location schedule) or go to a Brevard Workforce Resource Room at any of our three Brevard County offices. Please now go to step 2 - which is a REQUIREMENT for eligibility. You will not be called unless you complete Step 2.
Step 2
Once you have registered at Employ Florida Marketplace, YOU MUST ALSO register with the Aerospace Workforce Transition Program. Click here to register. During this registration process, you will choose the services that support your goals.
Step 3
After registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with additional information about your choices. An AWT team member will contact you to schedule an appointment. Response times will vary based on the current volume of requests.
Once you've registered with Employ Florida and Brevard Workforce and are waiting for your appointment, take advantage of other resources you can access in the resources area of our website. Plus, find job search tools, resume development support, labor market information, ongoing workshops and other career services at any of our Brevard Workforce offices in Titusville, Cocoa and Palm Bay.
