Brevard Workforce was recently notified of a $15 million funding award to assist transitioning aerospace workers at the Kennedy Space Center. A key component of this grant will be the implementation of On-The-Job Training (OJT) opportunities for placing workers directly into a job by using a portion of the funding to offset the salary of a placed employee for a specific period of time. Details on how the grant will be implemented are still being developed. In the meantime, if you are a business interested in providing OJT opportunities to transitioning aerospace workers, please click here and complete this short form. Once we have all the details worked out, someone will be in contact with you.
