| The Aerospace Workforce Transition Program provides programs and services to help aerospace workers transition smoothly from Space Shuttle/Constellation jobs to new employment both inside and outside of aerospace. Our mission is to help workers begin now to make a plan for their post-shuttle career by providing skills assessment, resume support, workshops, educational resources, career planning, training and support resources. Be sure and check out our video workshops too!
The vast network of partners across Central Florida and the state are tackling the unique challenges with this transition head on to assist every worker from admin and facilities management to technician and engineer. The program is FREE to qualified workers and has already helped hundreds of workers map out a strategy to success.
National Emergency Grant Funding UpdateThe $15 million funding announcement for the National Emergency Grant made on June 2nd was the first step in the process of implementing this program for transitioning aerospace workers. The grant will allow Brevard Workforce and our partners to continue the work we are already doing to help aerospace workers transition into new employment when the Shuttle and Constellation programs end.
